All HVAC installations should be carried out by a licensed, experienced professional. Incorrect installation can cause equipment malfunction, reduced performance, higher energy use and serious safety hazards.

Most manufacturers require installation by a licensed HVAC contractor, and many also require online product registration (often within 60 days of installation), to provide their full warranty coverage. Installation by an unqualified person may reduce or void the manufacturer’s warranty — check the warranty certificate for your equipment.

In accordance with California’s Proposition 65, we are required to inform customers that some products available on our website may contain chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm.

While we are committed to product safety and quality, certain materials used in manufacturing may include trace amounts of chemicals listed under Proposition 65. These substances can be found in items such as coatings, adhesives, plastics, and metals.

Please note that the presence of these chemicals does not necessarily indicate a health risk when the products are used as intended. Nevertheless, we recommend taking proper precautions when handling or using any product, especially by following all instructions and warnings provided.

The estimated delivery window shown on product pages is calculated from our typical processing and transit times; it is an estimate, not a guaranteed delivery date. Freight carriers call ahead to schedule delivery.

Please provide an accurate, accessible delivery address — additional charges caused by an incorrect address or a missed delivery appointment are the customer’s responsibility. See our Shipping Policy for details.

Please inspect all equipment at delivery, before the driver leaves. Note any visible damage or missing items on the delivery receipt (bill of lading), photograph the equipment and packaging, and contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

Damage that is not noted on the delivery receipt is treated by carriers as concealed damage, which is much harder to claim and may limit our ability to assist with a carrier claim or a damage-related return.

Return requests must be made within 14 days of delivery and require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). Equipment must be unused, uninstalled and in its original packaging. Damaged, defective or incorrect items must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. Custom, special-order and final-sale items are not returnable.

For returns that are not due to our error, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility and a restocking fee of up to 15% may apply. See our Return Policy and Refund Policy for full terms.

New equipment is covered by the manufacturer’s limited warranty only, subject to the manufacturer’s terms, including product registration where required. Installation and repair work performed by Kool Air & Heat LLC carries our workmanship warranty, described in our Warranty Policy.
