Where packaged units suit

Slab-on-grade homes with no basement or attic, manufactured housing, and light commercial rooftops — anywhere there is no practical space for an indoor furnace and coil. They are also simpler to service, since all components are accessible from one location.

No component matching required

Because the unit ships as a single factory assembly, the AHRI certificate covers the complete product. There is no coil to match, no furnace to select, and no risk of an uncertified pairing. The certificate number is listed on every product page.

Gas/electric or heat pump

Gas/electric units cool electrically and heat with gas, and need a gas connection at the unit. Packaged heat pumps do both electrically with no gas at all. Both use R-454B refrigerant and both require a suitable pad or curb and a duct connection at the cabinet.
